Areas: Civil, domestic relations, trusts and estates, guardianships and conservatorships, and dependency & neglect cases.
Deposit: There is no deposit required upon scheduling and no fee if the case resolves prior to any time being incurred for preparation. You are only charged for time I spend preparing for your case, participating in mediation, and any post-mediation matters for which the parties seek further assistance.
Minimum Time: There is no minimum billing time. Individuals are only responsible for time spent preparing for mediation, time in mediation, and for preparing any memorandum of understanding.
Payment: Unless other arrangements are agreed upon, payment is due at the end of mediation session split between the parties. Payment may be made by Zelle, Venmo, ApplePay, check or credit card.
In Person or Virtual: Mediations may be conducted in person at counsel's office or virtually. While there is value to mediating In person, I have also found virtual mediations to be equally as effective. Indeed, at times, virtual mediations are more comfortable for the parties since they are each able to be in their own separate locations with their counsel (or in a private virtual room with counsel).
Mediation Statements: Mediation statements are due 1 day prior to mediation. Any pleadings, filings, or disclosures parties believe should be reviewed should be submitted with the mediation statement. Any specific information that I would like to see will be requested at the time of scheduling.
Mediation: $225/ hr
